Great stuff here, and so true! Giving is so important, as Michael and Janelle point out here. I see its affects manifest in my life all the time. I believe strongly in the Law of Attraction and karma. Think of all the great stuff Janelle has given us, for nothing in return, and how it has made her life thrive.
I got into business a few years ago, after an injury took me out of the job I was doing. Even at the start, with medical bills and everything, I made an effort to give. I donated my off-line business services to local benefit auctions, to my local church etc. There is always something to give! And for my part, it has come back to me 10 fold. My life is more blessed than ever.
I guess my point is that we all have something to give, it’s easy, it feels great, and it does come back to you.
P.S. that guidestar charity ratings is a great site, seeing as it’s even hard to know what charities to trust these days, sadly.

This is one of the clearest explanations of eBay’s ‘Giving Works’ program that I’ve heard. Great examples of how to make the program work for you and super ‘outside the box’ tips and ideas. This podcast has valuable information that all charities and non-profits should know. If you’re involved with one, pass the word along!

WoW! What a discussion of this very important topic! Very detailed and expansive ideas for giving back.
I have always been convinced the way to success is through giving back. I contribute regularly to various charities. I use MissionFish and donate a percentage of the sale to my favorite charity…Best Friends Animal Society.
I’ve just learned, I can do so much more! This discussion opens up quite a few avenues that we can use to give back!
While listening, I started taking notes to really explore this topic on a much broader scope.
The idea of using the Trading Assistant venue to sell for charities is a great idea. Training people to sell on eBay to give back has to be the very essence of giving. Remember the ‘Give a man a fish..but teach him to fish’! This is one way we can all give back.
I’ve also thought of giving monetary terms. This discussion shows it can be services-time-all the way to selling gift certificates on eBay.
If you have always wanted to get involved with charities and don’t really know how or need more info, listen to this discussion!

You cannot give without receiving…Michael Kaiser explains how to use eBay to help charities around the world. An interesting discussion of how donating to charity can benefit your business as a marketing tool. Explores ways you can improve someone’s life without writing a check–your time, your old stuff and even free samples. Everyone has something to give.
